New Branding for Select Wine Merchants

Select Wine Merchants, one of Canada’s leading wine and spirits agencies, today unveils a new logo that includes the words “& Spirits” and a new commercial name, “Select Wines & Spirits”.

The new logo aligns with the strategic direction undertaken two years ago by the company to diversify the portfolio offering and keep pace with the rapid evolution of the market.

“The new logo and name better reflect Select Wines & Spirits’ evolution and competitive position as the company continues to diversify and expand into the spirit sector,” Pierre L. Doise, President and CEO, said. “While we continue to grow our presence in the wine category - which is the foundation of our company, we have expanded into the spirits sector with our partnership with the Remy Cointreau group. We will continue to actively pursue expansion and growth in the premium sprit sector where we see opportunities to do so.

The logo’s color is red, which symbolizes the company’s energy and dynamism, with black text in a classic font which embodies premiumness and the company’s deep roots – 29 years of business – in the Canadian market.
