Portugal - Vale dos Ares Alvarinho

Queimado’s family has been growing grapes on the property since 1683, but this 2012 Vale dos Ares Reserva is his little winery’s first vintage bottling. Yet Despite the wine’s debutant status, our group of visiting American and Canadian wine writers judged it to be one of the most exquisite best balanced Alvarinho of the some 100+ examples we had sampled that same week....
