CIBO TRATTORIA OPENS IN THE MODA HOTEL

SLG Hospitality Inc. announced the opening of Cibo Trattoria in the newly renovated Moda Hotel.

Executive Chef, Neil Taylor, formerly of London's esteemed River Café, will offer a contemporary Italian menu that focuses on local, seasonally evolving ingredients. Sahara Tamarin, formerly of Lumiere and Chow, is the restaurant's general manager.

The 52-seat restaurant serves dinner six nights a week and plans to offer a nightly pre-theater menu for $35 to patrons of the nearby Orpheum Theater.

Says SLG Hospitality Owner, Sebastien Le Goff, "We are excited about Cibo and we hope the Vancouver dining community will appreciate our take on Italian cuisine."

About Cibo Trattoria:

Opened in July of 2008, Cibo serves contemporary Italian cuisine focusing on local and seasonal ingredients. The wine list features esoteric Italian varietals, including 30 different labels of prosecco, as well as carefully honed selections from the Okanagan Valley. The space is intimate and warm with black and white washed brick walls, fireplace, and transparent wine cellar. The original ceramic floor, from 1908, has been restored to its original beauty.
