BURNABY'S EMPTY BOWLS PROJECT FIGHTS HUNGER AT FUNDRAISING EVENT

(Vancouver, BC) – On the evening of Tuesday, April 17th 2007, Burnaby’s Empty Bowls Project will present a fundraising event to help feed the hungry in their community. The event will feature a star-studded roster of some of Burnaby’s top culinary talents.

The grazing event will be held in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown Hotel. Guests will be treated to tasty menu samplings created and prepared by Chef John Garrett of Burnaby’s Horizons Restaurant, Chef Scott Jaeger of The Pear Tree Restaurant, Chef Tong Lim of the Hilton, Chef Jack Kuyer of The Valley Bakery, and Chef Dennis Peckham of The Hart House Restaurant.
