A FEW HINTS FOR VIEWING THE CITYFOOD E-ZINE
1) Missing Panic Button. The Key Guide to Using the E-Zine (The grey page opposite the cover) mentions a "Panic Button" (a way to quickly minimize the magazine to your tool bar), however this version of the online e-zine does not come with that feature. Our apologies for the confusion. If you think this feature would be valuable to you, please let us know.
2) Page Flipping Sound. If you wish to remove the page turning sound you can do this easily by going to the "Tools" tab at the top left side the tool bar for the e-zine and select "Effects". From there remove the check mark in the box marked "enable flipping sound". You can also use this tool to remove the page shadows or change the automatic zoom size.
3) Using Firefox. In some cases the FireFox browser is less effective with this software than other browsers. If you find the pages take a long time to load, flip two or three pages forward and then return to the page you are trying to look at. As well, if you get a message that the browser cannot locate the webpage from one of our embedded links, try clicking the "try again" button. With Firefox we have found that the link usually connects by the second try.
4) New Audio feature. Please try out the music link that you will find on page 37. It's a new multi-media feature we are experimenting with and we would welcome your feed back on whether you find this enhances the experience of the article or whether you find it distracting.
5) Share your thoughts. This program is still in an experimental phase, so we very much welcome any feedback you care to share about your experience with using it. Please let us know about any difficulties or problems with the program or whether you have suggestions for other features that would be useful to you. You may email all comments to contact@cityfood.com.
Thank you
