C and Raincity are a Must See

C AND RAINCITY GRILL ARE A MUST SEE

(Directly from the press release.)

Vancouver, BC…. It is official, C Restaurant and Raincity Grill have made the list of 1000 Places to See Before You Die. Recently released, this global guide book is organized by region and indexed by interest, including sections on great dining, wilderness, best beaches, road trips and more. Raincity Grill and C Restaurant are two of the three restaurants included from the Vancouver region. Other listings for our region include Stanley Park, Granville Island Market and the Museum of Anthropology.

Patricia Schultz, author of 1000 Places to See Before You Die says of the two restaurants; “C Restaurant starts with the finest Pacific seafood and fish….Ask for the tasting menu and be guaranteed an evening of seafood dining that is a veritable adventure of new flavours, unusual combinations and deep satisfaction.

Of Raincity Grill she notes, “Raincity Grill… was one of the first purveyors of Pacific Northwest cuisine….the dedication to freshness and innovation has kept this restaurant at the cutting edge of Vancouver dining.

NU Restaurant, not to be left out, has garnered 3 Diamonds from the AAA/CAA official appointment program. The evaluation process is made of three parts: minimum member rating requirements, objective rating guidelines and subjective elements of the individual experience. First, all establishments must meet member-rating requirements and be determined to provide member value. This validation is conducted through a combined process of applications, referrals, and media research. If a restaurant is presumed to qualify, a tourism editor will visit and anonymously dine to observe the basic foundation of the establishment. The tourism editor will apply a set of diamond rating guidelines that represent objective criteria prevalent throughout the restaurant industry. In addition, the tourism editor will include key subjective elements experienced at the time of the evaluation. This evaluation process will include the review of these key dining essentials pertaining to the following three areas:
♦ FOOD
♦ SERVICE
♦ DÉCOR AND AMBIANCE

C Restaurant, Raincity Grill and Nu Restaurant & Lounge provide three excellent waterfront dining choices. For more information, check out www.waterfrontdining.ca or each individual site, www.crestaurant.com, www.raincitygrill.com, www.whatisnu.com.
