A Portuguese Picnic at Senova

A PORTUGUESE PICNIC AT SENOVA (Directly from the press release.)
Vancouver, BC… June is Portuguese Heritage Month and June 10th is Dia de Portugal (or Day of Portugal). To celebrate, Senova is having a "Portuguese Picnic".
Starting at noon on Sunday, June 10th, join Senova as they serve up contemporary Portuguese-style barbeque, delicious snacks and tasty treats from the kitchen. All this, plus live music and the trademark passion that owner Manuel Ferreira brings to the table, for just $25 per person. Senova will be featuring a variety of Portuguese wines and other beverages as well. Having grown up in Portugal and France, Ferreira invites the community to join in his celebration of this Portuguese national holiday. Dia de Portugal commemorates the life of Luis de Camões, Portugal's greatest poet, and recognizes the valuable contributions of the many Portuguese communities worldwide. Home-grown champions accented by traditional flavourings and spices, fills the culinary coffers of Senova Restaurant. Located in Kerrisdale just outside the inner cities madness, the restaurant boasts the Mediterranean cuisine of sun. Join us and see why Senova was recently named one of Canada’s best new restaurants by EnRoute Magazine. Senova Restaurant is open for lunch from 11:30 am, with tapas available during the afternoon. Dinner is from 5:30pm to 10pm.
