100 MILE SPOT PRAWN MENU AT RAINCITY GRILL

Vancouver, BC… Now that summer is just around the corner it’s time to set your sights on patio dining, and marking the start of this year’s patio season is the availability of local, sustainably harvested BC Spot Prawns. Here for a mere six to eight weeks, Raincity Grill features the sweet and delicate crustacean on their just released 100 Mile ‘Spot Prawn’ Tasting Menu (see menu below). Each day Chef de Cuisine Peter Robertson receives his share of live, fresh BC Spot Prawns delivered to the docks just across the water from sister restaurants C Restaurant and NU Restaurant + Lounge, courtesy of Organic Ocean’s Steve Johansen.

Here in Vancouver, we equate our seasons to a wide variety of local ingredients that slip progressively onto Raincity Grill’s menus. This season, look for Spot Prawns done in a variety styles ranging from carpaccio to bisque on the 100 Mile Menu at Raincity Grill.
