Summertime Specials at Le Gavroche

SUMMERTIME AT LE GAVROCHE

(Directly from the Press Release.)

Running now through August 14th is Le Gavroche Restaurant’s Annual Lobster Festival. For the next month, stop by and enjoy a 3-course lobster dinner for $45.00 (see menu below), featuring a plethora of choices – from steamed with citrus butter to spit roasted with braised fennel and almond cream to thermidor, and nearly anything in between. Le Gavroche is the place to fulfil your summertime craving for this delicious crustacean.

If you prefer food from the land rather than the sea, hold tight until August 15th when Le Gavroche is all about mushrooms. Happening from August 15th through September 14th, the Annual Mushroom Festival is returning to Le Gavroche, also with a 3-course menu for just $45.00. This time, tempt your palate with selections such as duck confit with fresh nameko mushroom & chorizo torte or wild salmon with snap peas and girolle mushrooms (see menu below).

Opened in 1978, the setting of Le Gavroche has charmed Vancouverites and travelers alike. The gently refurbished Victorian house (circa 1910’s) features views of the Coastal Mountains and Coal Harbour from the upstairs terrace, a cozy fireplace for those cold winter evenings, and a private reception room that can accommodate up to 28 guests. For more information, check out the website at www.legavroche.ca or visit the restaurant at 1616 Alberni Street, Vancouver, BC. To book reservations please call 604-685-3924.
