DRAMBUIE SAUCE

1 Tablespoon flour
6 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 cusp boiling water
1/2 cup Drambuie or brandy



Toast the flour in a small, heavy saucepan, stirring over low heat until light brown. Blend with the butter.

Dissolve the sugar in the boiling water, stir slowly into the flour/butter mixture, simmer 10 minutes.

Add the Drambuie or Brandy and serve hot.

Serve 8 to 10.
