DEUCE TO OPEN ON LONSDALE THIS JULY
(Edited from the Press Release)

For his second foray into the local dining scene, Rob Gietl of the Element Hospitality Group, and owner of Capones Restaurant & Live Jazz Club, will open DEUCE in July 2007 at 1617 Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver.

Working with M Studio, Deuce will be present a thoroughly modern take on casual upscale dining to residents, friends and colleagues of the North Shore.

Simple, light, airy and sophisticated, the restaurant's décor will feature warm, natural materials with neutral colors and textures, and an emphasis on horizontal and vertical planes. Patrons will enjoy an open-concept kitchen, dining area, and lounge. A centrally located bar will highlight a wine display that ascends to the ceiling and mirrors itself on the opposite wall.

Guests can expect a west coast contemporary dining menu, featuring an array of local ingredients and dishes, plus an innovative cocktail list.

Ensuring a seamless transition for this new space is long time Capones Manager, Angie Parkinson. Operations Director Ian McTavish completes the team.
