SYMPOSIUM ON SUSTAINABILITY AT UBC FARM

Please join UBC Farm for the third annual UBC Farm Symposium: Teaching and Learning for Sustainable Food Systems on Friday April 13, 9am-4:30pm.

The Symposium this year will highlight education projects promoting sustainable food systems, and bring together members of the university community, surrounding neighbourhoods, NGO's, government, farmers and industry, in an effort to strengthen the connections between the Farm and the communities it serves.

The 2007 Symposium will build on the past two year's successful Research and Community Symposia at the Centre. This year they are pleased to welcome Dr. Patricia Allen, Acting Director of the Centre for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at the University of California, Santa Cruz as their keynote speaker. A more detailed program will be announced shortly.
