Nitka Lake Lodge and Spa Opens at Whistler

NITKA LAKE LODGE AND SPA OPENS AT WHISTLER

Nita Lake Lodge & Spa, a property of Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia, has officially opened at Whistler. Located near Creekside, the 77-suite lodge features studio, one and two bedroom suites with 42-inch plasma televisions, fireplaces, outdoor patios, and full concierge service. As reported earlier in CityFood Online, Chef Andrew Springett (formerly of the Wickaninnish Inn) will oversee the Nita Lake Lodge's Jordon’s Crossing dining room (“fine dining reminiscent of the first class railway cars of yesteryear�). He will be there for a few weeks before heading over to Ucluelet to work on the company’s Black Rock Oceanfront Resort which is due to open in late spring 2008. Other Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia holdings include Cove Lakeside Resort in Westbank, The Oswego Hotel in Victoria, L’Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver, and The Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos.
