Vancouver, BC: Sean Riley, Executive Chef at Yaletown's COAST Restaurant has taken his love for fresh seafood and created a menu fit for a "King" - crab that is.
Chef Table guests, with Chef Riley as host, will get a chance to savour the giant crustacean in a myriad of creative dishes, starting with the appetizing chilled King Crab rolled in Tuna Sashimi. Next, move onto the King Crab entrée - complemented by Manilla clam, bean curd and egg white foo. Indulge in out-of-the-ordinary sides with Tempura Zucchini Blossoms stuffed with King Crab, Heirloom Tomatoes with Sambuca Granite and Vitello Re Granchio - the gourmet epitome of a stuffed potato. With a brandy snap basket and pineapple basil crème anglaise accenting the fresh Ataulfo Mango Pudding - you won't be able to keep your claws off the dessert either!
The Chef's Table is available for solo dining or for groups up to 14. 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm available seatings. Cost per person is $60 and optional wine pairings with each course for $35.
