Great Canadian Beer Festival tickets available

The place to be this September is the Royal Athletic Park in Victoria, B.C., September 9th and 10th from 3-8 pm on Friday and from 12-7 pm on Saturday, where thousands of beer connoisseurs will gather. Don't miss Friday night, with full beer tanks, reduced admission, and shorter line ups.

The non-profit festival society will be donating the proceeds to the Canadian Cancer Society, and again welcomes the efforts of hundreds of volunteers. The tasting event, featuring over 40 brewers, the largest collection of craft brewers in Canada, expects the most brewers ever this year.

Numerous Vancouver, U.S. and Island craft brewers bring their most popular or their most recent innovation to the festival. 130 different beers!

New this year is a Belgian beer tent, with hand crafted Belgian style beers from various brewers. Another change this year is the return of the Friday festival day.

Tickets are on sale, at venues throughout B.C. and Washington State. There will be no ticket sales at the door; ticket sales venues are listed on the website. Ticket includes admission, souvenir festival glass and festival guide. Festival tickets include a free BC Transit ticket home, sponsored by ICBC, BC Transit and BC Liquor Stores. Tokens for beer samples will be available at the festival. Food vendors will have their wares available from start to finish and entertainment will be provided non-stop. There will be free shuttle buses every half hour between the festival and Bay Centre downtown.
