GOURMET MAGAZINE FEATURES VANCOUVER ISLAND


Gourmet Magazine's August 2009 issue features an impressive 4-page spread on the culinary bounty of Vancouver Island.

We haven't been able to find the online link yet, which will probably be available on the magazine's site soon, however a quick browse at the newsstand revealed that outside the mostly pictorial content (gorgeous photography), several of the major local players get a significant mention. To name a few: Diane Bernard , the " Seaweed Lady , Mara Jernigan and Fairburn Farms , Bill Jones and his Deerholme Farm Cooking School , plus of course, the pastoral Cowichan area in general. We were not familiar with the author of the piece.
