Scott Laming the PR Coordinator for AbeBooks wrote to remind us that the company now offers a diverse and comprehensive food culture and cookbook section that is an excellent resource for food writers and cooks.

Not only are AbeBooks experts in tracking down out of print and hard to find book titles they now offer via their website a section that is devoted to interesting and useful cookbook related information.

Log on to http://www.abebooks.com/docs/Cookbooks/ and you’ll find a list of the world’s most expensive cookbooks, a roster of the world’s weirdest cookbooks, interviews with such celebrity chefs as Anthony Bourdain, a calendar of international food events, plus a “bookie chat forum among other features.

A private company based in Victoria, BC since 1996, and with offices in Germany, Spain and the USA, AbeBooks.com can truly be considered a Canadian success story. Claiming status as the world’s largest online marketplace for books, the site now lists over 100 million new, used, rare, and out-of-print titles that have been listed for sale by more than 13,500 independent booksellers from around the world. Their customers purchase up to 25,000 books a day from its 5 global websites.
