More New Developments for CityFood

LOOKING BACK AND MOST OF ALL ... LOOKING FORWARD
Can it be that 15 years has gone by since the first issue of CityFood was published? The illustration above shows our first cover from June 1992, and we remember when it hit the streets that more than one person remarked: "This is great. But how will you find enough material to fill another one?"
Well, filling issues of CityFood with great material about our fabulous food, wine and restaurants in British Columbia has never posed a problem. We managed it then, when the industry was but a seedling and we are still on the chase now that it is emerging into full bloom. Along the way there have been plenty of fascinating stories to tell. Some that made it onto the pages, and even more that didn't because at the time, we considered it prudent not to tell.
However the time has come, to spill all the beans of the past and to celebrate where we are in 2007. It's going to be a blast and we thought we'd give you an advance invitation to come join us in the celebration.
CITYFOOD AT 15 - Arriving late Spring 2007.

WHAT'S IN THE MAIL?
We're currently working on a way to format our daily content on CityFood Online into a newsletter that can be sent directly to your inbox so you won't have to check our website everyday to see the new material that has been posted.
If you look under our CityFood plate logo on the home page you'll see a new box where you can place your email address. Once we have your coordinates we can notify you when the newsletter will be ready to mail, as well as let you know about other developments at CityFood. At that time, you will have the opportunity to choose which version of the newsletter you want sent to you. The link to unsubscribe will be attached to the first email and you will have the option to use it at any time.
Please be assured - We hate spam too! So you have our promise that your address will never be released to any third party but will only be used to communicate with you about your registration status.

Thanks for letting us share some of our news. Have a great weekend. We'll be back with our regular format of news and short features on Monday, including a fun and lively interview with one of Vancouver's top restaurant managers.
